‘Prince Eddy’ by Andrew Cook

I just finished this excellent book, one which effectively puts any connection between Eddy and the Cleveland Street scandal down to rumours started by a dodgy solicitor* trying anything to allow his client (Lord Arthur Somerset) to evade trial. It also counters all the daft conspiracy theories that surround this poor young Prince.
*What is it about solicitors? Newton, the bloke in this case, reminded me of Charles Dawson, the culprit in the Piltdown forgeries (another thing which is awash with daft theories!)
