And I feel so lucky to have been able to read my copy pre-launch. I’m working my way through the stories, often squealing with delight; manifold_press have done a cracking job with it. I’d like to share my thoughts over the next few weeks about some of the stories which particularly moved me.
No Man’s Land by Julie Bozza kicks off the anthology, which is in roughly chronological order. My notes read, “I thought we were pals, Julie, but you’ve reduced me to tears with this story.” It had such honesty and depth of feeling and, of course, Julie has a lovely way with words.
I’m delighted to say that the Pride of Poppies authors will be featuring at my blog in May, sharing their reasons for contributing a story for this great cause.
