At St. Catherine’s Hill, Winchester. Iron Age (you can’t get away from that round here) with medieval (and later) additions, none of which remain apart from the mysterious mizmaze.

and we were certainly on top of the world!
Then off to The Fox and Hounds at Crawley (the Hampshire one, which is a delightful little village), for steak and mushroom pudding and a poignant letter on display.
